The past two months my dining room has been taken over with journals, LilyWraps, Memory Boxes, Teeny Tears diapers and pens donated by Peek a Boo ICU.
Our First Annual NICU Journal Drive was beyond a success. We received journals from friends, family, former NICU families, co-workers, high-school friends, Grandmothers, teachers and that's right - total strangers. We received such an outpouring of love, it was truly humbling.
We received over 120 journals for NICU families. Seriously, that is AMAZING!
And thank you Jodi at Peek a Boo ICU for donating pens and bracelets for each journal!
These sweet girls helped me take off 120 price tags, talk about patience! And guess what, neither of them cared that it was messing up their nails;) Thanks girls!
Over coffee and good friends we packed up each journal with love!
Sorted and ready for the car!
Let me tell you how speechless my friend's were when they saw how "teeny" these Teeny Tears Bereavement Diapers really are. We became involved with our friend's over at Teeny Tears when they saw that I shared their site on my blog. How surprised was I to open my email one morning and read their amazing offer to donate diapers in Lily's memory. 300 diapers to be exact, and each one of them has a special donation card on them with Lily's name, honoring her short life. Many, many thanks to the Green Family of Utah for sewing all of these diapers for Teeny Tears and for Lily.

It doesn't stop there, we also donated 30 LilyWraps to the Labor & Delivery unit where we lost Lily. My heart is heavy knowing that they have already shared our previous donations with families. That's too many families that have joined this club that no one wants to belong.
And - another local family, the Lovoi's donated Memory Boxes in honor of what could have been. This family has been so amazingly supportive of our mission and all that we do. Not just donating memory boxes and journals but with simple genuine support. We appreciate them SO much♥
