The Green's

A while back I received an email from Megan at Teeny Tears asking if Lily's Amazing Grace would like a donation of Teeny Tears Bereavement Diapers.  Ah, really? No hesitation there, "Yes Please!"  How amazing would it be to add Megan's Teeny Tears diapers to our memory boxes and donate to our local NICU and Labor & Delivery. 

Teeny Tears is a selfless service project created by Megan herself.  All you have to do is read Meghan's story here and you will be hooked. 

In November of 2008 Megan's son Dex passed away just before his birth at 28 weeks because of Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome.  Three years after Dex's passing Megan created a service project and named it "Teeny Tears," she would create micro preemie stillbirth diapers.  Friends, family and total strangers have supported Megan in this endeavor and have donated over 22,000 diapers! 

When I received our donation of over 300 Teeny Tears diapers in the mail my heart sank.  Surprised - I know...but looking at them I knew that each of these diapers would ultimately be needed.  And imagine my surprise when I realized that every single diaper would be donated with it's own custom label made by Megan ~ Donated in Memory of Lily ♥

As total strangers we are joined in our grief but it doesn't end there, our diapers along with thousands of others are made by one very special family, The Green's.  I had to share their selflessness here with you all.

The Green's have handcrafted more than 1500 diapers for angel families in the last 6 months and 300 of those have been donated in Lily's memory. Thank you for your selfless giving in memory of Dex and Lily and all the Angel Babies who you have touched.
